End user agreement

Last updated June 11, 2026

This agreement covers everyone who uses Quove. It has a part for businesses that subscribe to Quove and a part for the customers who use a business's public quote and invoice pages. Read the part that applies to you, along with the shared sections.

Who this covers

In this agreement:

  • “Quove,” “we,” or “us” means the company that operates the Quove platform.
  • “Business User” means a field service business that has a Quove subscription and a branded subdomain.
  • “End Customer”means a person who uses a Business User's public pages to request or accept a quote, or to sign and pay an invoice, without signing in.
  • “you” means whichever of these applies to you.

A Business User's subscription is also governed by our Terms of service. How we handle data is described in our Privacy policy.

Applies to everyone

By using Quove, you agree to the following.

  1. You will use the service only for lawful purposes and will not misuse it, interfere with its operation, or try to access data that is not yours.
  2. You will not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell the service except as the law expressly allows.
  3. The Quove software, design, and brand belong to us. Nothing here transfers ownership of them to you.
  4. The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties and limit our liability as described below.

For Business Users

If you subscribe to Quove for your business:

  1. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business while your subscription is active.
  2. You own the content you put into Quove, including quotes, customer records, invoices, and brand assets. You are responsible for having the right to collect and use any customer information you enter.
  3. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You decide who on your team has access.
  4. When you collect payments from your End Customers through Quove, those funds are paid to your own connected payment account. You are the merchant of record and are responsible for the goods and services you invoice, for taxes, and for handling refunds and disputes.
  5. The details of billing, cancellation, acceptable use, and liability for your subscription are set out in the Terms of service, which apply to you in full.

For End Customers

If you use a business's public Quove pages as their customer:

  1. Your relationship for the work itself is with that business, not with Quove. We provide the software the business uses to send you a quote or invoice; we are not a party to your contract with them.
  2. The information you submit, such as your contact details, address, and answers to the form, is sent to the business so they can prepare and manage your quote. The business controls that data.
  3. When you accept or decline a quote, that response is recorded and sent to the business. Accepting a quote does not by itself create a binding contract unless the business's own terms say so.
  4. Questions about pricing, scheduling, the work, refunds, or your data should go to the business that sent you the quote. We can help with the platform, but the business owns the relationship.

Electronic signatures and payments

If an End Customer signs an invoice in Quove, that is an electronic signature, and you agree to be bound by it to the same extent as a handwritten one. We record the signature, the consent text shown at the time, and a timestamped record (including IP address and browser) so both sides have evidence of what was signed.

If you pay an invoice online, the payment is processed by Stripe and collected by the business, not by Quove. Your card details go to Stripe; we do not see or store them. Refunds and payment disputes are handled by the business that issued the invoice.

Acceptable use

No one may use Quove to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • access, probe, or disrupt parts of the service that are not theirs;
  • upload malicious code, or content that is unlawful, deceptive, or violates someone's privacy.

We may suspend or remove access for anyone who violates these rules.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the acts of any business or customer using the platform, or for third-party services such as payment processors and calendars. Any liability we do have is limited as described in the Terms of service.

Changes

We may update this agreement from time to time. For Business Users, if a change materially affects your rights we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. For End Customers, the current version always governs your use of the public pages. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
